Dissemination

A Roadmap for our Undertakings

Another strategic meeting took place today and we defined a roadmap for what we would like to do in the coming weeks and months. It is guide that can constantly change and also welcomes your feedback.

One important factor that I talked about in the last blog entry is dissemination. This is where our focus lies at the moment.
One of the main tools you can find on the site, is a badge, which is a html code that can be embedded on your company site or personal site (just like on youtube).
The first badge, that we created, is a collection of all projects per one partner. So if you linked yourself to projects you have been involved in and click on your partner description, you can see an embed code.
We want to offer different badges over time, that selects also all project outcomes per project or for each partner.

As a response to Shan Ashton's comment, we would like to open up and expand eduate.eu for other European education projects.
You may have local/regional projects, you would like to add. If this is the case, please let us know about the other frameworks, these projects fit in, so we can add them to our selection of frameworks for project descriptions.

Just comment to this blog post. :-)

Eduate Strategy Talk

Yesterday, we, cocoate.com, had a discussion about the strategic future of eduate.eu.
We identified two main needs that EU education partners have: dissemination tools and ways to search for potential participating partners. These were also two major issues pointed out during the Grundtvig Conference 2010.

Participating partner institutions want to not only disseminate their projects as well as outcomes but also learn about existing products from previous and other projects. Hence, they want to learn what is out there, what already exists. Instead of inventing the wheel every time, it is now the time to build on each others' experiences and use what other have already created.

Searching for and finding new potential partners, that are willing to participate as well as matching to needs and ideas is difficult. We see the need to have tools and features that make it easier to find and to be found.
